Network Analyst Position Available:
Louisiana College is seeking applicants for a Network Analyst. A Network Analyst is responsible for the installation, layout, and maintenance of all network components. Other duties include: Planning, designing, analyzing, and providing technical support for data communications network or group of networks; and conducting research and evaluation of network technology and recommend purchases of network equipment.
Skills Required: Knowledge of company supported network platforms such as Apple and Microsoft Server 2003 and above; a range of computer networking systems and languages to include Apple, UNIX, LINUX, Microsoft, or similar computer networks; knowledge of federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer software and networks; knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques; ability to design and coordinate the installation of data networks; ability to provide a range of systems training and/or support activities for users; ability to develop and write systems and applications documentation and guides for users; ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions; ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. This position requires strong interpersonal skills. Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of network experience preferred.
Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.

Administrative Assistant Position Available:
Louisiana College is seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant position. An Administrative Assistant performs secretarial, clerical, and related duties requiring the application of departmental procedure and policy; types letters, reports, and other related documents from rough drafts, corrected copy, and detailed materials; maintains departmental and student records; meets and greets visitors; answers the phone, takes messages, and replies to questions in accordance with general instructions.
Skills Required: Operate office machines including calculators, duplicating equipment and personal computers. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and e-mail. High School diploma or equivalent required. Two year College degree or Technical College in a business related field preferred.
