Division of Natural Sciences & Mathematics


The Division of Natural Sciences strives to glorify God by training students in science and technology related to the natural realm, preparing them for a variety of careers.

With small class sizes in lecture and lab, the Division of Natural Sciences emphasizes personal interaction between students and faculty.

The Division houses one of the strongest pre-med programs in the southern U.S. and offers training for a number of career opportunities including teaching, pharmaceutical sales and a number of graduate level pursuits.

Hands on laboratories and access to a highly qualified faculty and staff, who are fully committed to glorifying Jesus Christ, round out the Division's menu of offerings.


Louisiana College's Division of Computer Science and Mathematics emphasizes personal interaction between students and faculty while encouraging a positive Christian environment where students can learn and grow in their faith.

A degree in Mathematics or Computer Science offers many career paths and prepares students for graduate work in mathematics, business, accounting, and teaching.

Students can major in math or math education. The Division also offers a two-year pre-engineering program and a minor in computer science.

The Division of Mathematics and Computer Science gives students the opportunity to learn in classes with small student-teacher ratios and provides hands-on laboratories and classroom training.
