Today marks a historic milestone in the history of Louisiana College. Under the stewardship of President Joe Aguillard, Louisiana College and the Board of Trustees are excited to announce the single largest donation in school history- an anonymous gift of $10 million.

The Louisiana College Board of Trustees was notified of the generous gift at the April 30th meeting.

The donors, a Baptist couple who wish to remain anonymous, made the donation as a reflection of their trust in leadership of President Aguillard.

“Louisiana College, its staff, faculty and students are truly humbled by the generous gift,” Dr. Aguillard said. “The gift is not a reflection of anything I have done as president, but rather of the Lord leading the College and the hearts of donors who believe in our mission, which is ultimately His mission.”

Since Dr. Aguillard took office in 2005, Louisiana College has experienced growth in enrollment, generated $10,350,789 from new programs, added graduate programs, revived the Wildcat football program and completed construction of new student housing, the Ware St. Apartments.
