Assistant Director of Admissions Position:

Louisiana College is seeking applicants for the Assistant Director of Admissions, which serves as the primary recruiter and financial aid counselor for graduate and online students. The role is to be the expert on all graduate and online programming for the college, working closely with graduate directors to grow enrollment for several academic programs. The individual must work to develop relationships with diverse constituencies that enhance and expand the mission of LC. This position will also be responsible for handling all VA for financial aid.  The position requires travel and occasional weekend hours.

Part-Time Cheer / Mascot Coaching Position Available:

Louisiana College is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Cheer / Mascot Coach position.  The Part-Time Coach is responsible for developing and administering a competitive Cheer team and Mascot program with specific responsibilities in choreography and recruiting.  The Part-Time Cheer/Mascot Coach will abide by College, NCA, and NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance Competition rules and regulations; and along with all other athletics personnel, will work towards achieving the objectives of Intercollegiate Athletics.  The Part-Time Cheer / Mascot Coach works with the appropriate persons in the College community to develop leadership skills, sportsmanship, reinforce Christian values, showcase talents, and to also offer a variety of event entertainment.

Skills Required: Ability to recruit, coach, and teach highly talented student-athletes; Ability to safely teach skill progression; Ability to adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations of the College, NCA, and NAIA;  Ability to apply budgeting and fiscal planning techniques within financial constraints; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and e-mail.  Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3 to 5 years of coaching with an Associate degree required.

Louisiana Athletic Club Childcare Attendant Position Available:

Louisiana College is seeking applicants for a Childcare Attendant position at the Louisiana Athletic Club.

A Childcare Attendant organizes and maintains safe supervision and care of children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years of age. Must be a visible CHRISTIAN leader and give witness as a person who lives a life that honors the Lord Jesus Christ and is consonant with the Statement of Christian Standards of Louisiana College and the Baptist Faith and Message.

Skills/Experience:

Must be able to prioritize workflow on a daily basis.  Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken form with individuals of various education levels. Must be CPR certified.

Louisiana Athletic Club Exercise-Fitness Tech Position Available:

Louisiana College is seeking applicants for an Exercise-Fitness Tech position at the Louisiana Athletic Club.

An Exercise-Fitness Tech promotes a safe and nurturing workout environment by properly maintaining/cleaning fitness equipment, assisting with towel service, greeting and interacting with members, and other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or the general manager. Skills/Experience:

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience in the fitness field preferred.
  • BLS certification required.

Financial Aid Counselor Position Available:

Louisiana College is seeking applicants for a Financial Aid Counselor position.  A Financial Aid Counselor assists with the college’s financial aid program by ensuring the applicants receive assistance in the application process for loans and scholarships.

Skills Required: Database management and technology skills are required.  Experience with integrated financial aid/student information systems and proficiency with PowerFAIDS financial aid software preferred. Candidate should possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.  Must be a visible CHRISTIAN leader and give witness as a person who lives a life that honors the Lord Jesus Christ and is consonant with the Statement of Christian Standards of Louisiana College and the Baptist Faith and Message.

Education Required: Four year college Business degree preferably in Accounting or Management, or at least five years of related experience.  Experience with Financial Aid is a plus.

Building Maintenance Assistant Position Available:

Louisiana College is seeking applicants for a Building Maintenance Assistant to perform basic maintenance, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, painting and pressure washing, as well as whatever tasks assigned to keep Louisiana College looking and running smoothly. This position requires availability for emergency situations at the property, including on-call rotation.

Skills Required: Qualified applicants for the Building Maintenance Assistant position must be a visible CHRISTIAN leader and give witness as a person who lives a life that honors the Lord Jesus Christ and is consonant with the Statement of Christian Standards of Louisiana College and the Baptist Faith and Message. Must have experience with general building maintenance. High School diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements: the ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force constantly.
