James Majors is a Certified Public Accountant in Louisiana and teaches accounting courses at Louisiana College.James enhances his experience teaching accounting for thirteen years with real world experience to bring practical examples to the study of accounting. He has worked as the Chief Financial Officer in wholesale petroleum distribution, the manufacturing of industrial chemicals, highway safety, highway construction, and environmental remediation. In addition to his experience as a financial executive, James has owned and operated several companies. His entrepreneurial experience includes the manufacture and national distributions of household insecticides and a venture into the financial sector, a real estate title company. James continues to consult in the medical transportation industry and procurement of government contracts. He is an active member of his church, participating in the music program and serving on several committees.
