Details on the Governor Jimmie Davis Scholarship

Freshmen are awarded based on the ACT/SAT score, while transfers are awarded based on their GPA. Most students will also qualify for a Louisiana College grant dependent upon their need. To find out a more accurate financial aid package please go to our Net Price Calculator or schedule a time with one of our admissions counselors.

There is no deadline for academic scholarship, meaning this award can increase, according to our matrix, up until the time you enroll. We encourage students to take the ACT or SAT multiple times to increase their score.

Amounts below are awarded to students per year as long as the student maintains a minimum of a 2.0 GPA* and passes 24 hours in an academic year.

LC Grants

LC Grants are available from $500-$3000 depending on the reported EFC from when a student submits their FAFSA. Please go to our Net Price Calculator to see how much in LC grants you may qualify for.
