Gary Perkins, Ed.D.

About Gary Perkins
Before coming to LCU, Dr. Perkins served secondary students as a teacher, coach, dean of students, and principal. He has worked in rural and urban schools, with six of his seven years in one-to-one technology schools. Dr. Perkins is a proud member of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), which contributed to his effectiveness as a dual-enrollment instructor for River Parishes Community College (RPCC). In addition, he credits his success as a secondary administrator to his Tap Evaluation Process training provided by the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET) and their affiliates.
