Jasmin Anderson

Assistant Coach

A native of Shreveport Louisiana, Jasmin Anderson graduated from Loyola College Prep in 2012. As a senior, Jasmin led her team to a 33-2 record and a Louisiana Class 3A state championship. Anderson completed her career ranked among Loyola’s top 20 all-time scorers and in the top 10 in career three-point field goals and assists. She proceeded to attend Sam Houston State University, granted with a full athletic scholarship to be a part of the Women’s Basketball program. She appeared in 15 games as a true freshman, aiding in a 2013 Southland Conference Championship. With 2 consecutive years of Championship play, Anderson and her team continued to chase rings. In her senior season, Jasmin helped lead Sam Houston to the Southland Conference Championship yet again, but they came up short. Anderson knows how to win and how important it is to maintain a standard individually and collectively as a team.

With a B.S in Health Sciences and a May 2016 graduate of Sam Houston, Anderson saw an opportunity to further her basketball career on the opposite side of the spectrum. She was offered the Director of Operations/ Assistant Coaching position by head coach, Reni Mason, and gladly accepted. From Bearkat to Wildcat, Jasmin supports the orange and blue and is ecstatic to be a part of such a great coaching staff, a great team, and an even better scholastic program. Anderson thanks God for the opportunity to be a part of the Wildcat family.
