About Andrew Magee, PhD

Professor Andrew Magee is the Coordinator for the Criminal Justice Program at Louisiana College.  He comes to Louisiana College with an extensive military background having served over 29 years in the Army National Guard which included 23 years of active duty military service.  His background includes broad experience through numerous public safety and emergency response operations which most notably included extensive participation in the Los Angeles Riots, the San Francisco earthquake, hurricanes Gustav, Katrina and Rita, and Deep Water Horizons.  Throughout his military career, he has held a variety of command and staff-level assignments and participated in numerous overseas deployments.  Professor Magee is also a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Professor Magee is an elder, bible teacher, the founder of Grow and Go Ministries, and he is committed towards discipleship and the Great Commission.  Professor Magee is married to the former Anna Marie Ferrigno with their three children:  Rebekah, Daniel, and Stephen.
