About Paul Lambach, PhD

Dr. Lambach joined the Louisiana College family in 2019. He enjoys seeing his investments in the lives of students bear fruit as they grow spiritually and academically.  Areas of interest include biblical studies, teaching and preaching, and ministering in local churches.  While serving as a theological educator in Brazil, he taught Biblical Languages, Old Testament Survey and Theology, New Testament Survey, Apologetics, and Evangelism in five Brazilian Theological Institutions.  He also founded and coordinated the Mission Department of the Baptist Seminary in Belem-Para-Brazil through which he mobilized many students, local pastors, and church members to became involved in weekly evangelistic chapels at local businesses, at Men’s and Women’s Prisons, and at fast-food restaurants; in Bible distribution at public schools; in Bible, clothing, and food-basket distribution in River Communities; and in annual evangelistic activities at the largest worldwide expression of faith at the annual October pilgrimage Festa do Cirio.  He also coordinated an English School at an Evangelical Secondary School in Brazil and taught English in a Brazilian Men’s Prison.  Prior ministerial experiences include Correctional and Hospital Chaplaincy, Pastoral and Staff Ministries, and Youth Work.

Dr. Lambach is married to Edna, who works at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.  Five grown children include Joseph, Jonathan, David, Rachel, and Hannah, along with five grandchildren.

He enjoys serving local Southern Baptist churches as requested.  When not working, he loves to play table games, relax with his wife, and visit with family.
