COST OF ATTENDANCE:

Cost of attendance (or COA) is the estimated annual cost of attending a college or university. It includes tuition, room and board, books, supplies, transportation, loan fees, and miscellaneous expenses. Schools use their cost of attendance in determining a student's eligibility for financial aid, such as grants and loans. Some of the items in the COA are direct costs (like tuition/fees and room & board) while others are estimates of costs the student might incur throughout the school year. So the COA contains both direct costs, that is, what will be paid to the school after financial aid is deducted from it, and indirect costs or an estimate of what the student will spend throughout the semester.

The cost of attendance is the sticker price for a school and does not have the financial aid deducted from it. To see a more accurate picture of what it might cost you to attend Louisiana College, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@lacollege.edu or call (318) 487-7259 or use the Net Price Calculator at https://www.lacollege.edu/students/financial-aid/net-price-calculator/.
